About the event

Plan of action for 8 weeks: 

· Recovery Rides to promote adaptation and blood flow to muscle

· Run once a week (great for heart rate response on the bike as well as cross-training other muscles groups)

· Hill Training for those sharp and technical hills when racing

· Tempo rides and interval to improve VO2max and simulate the racing environment

· Long slow distance rides to improve endurance

· Double session (bike and run) to promote riding with fatigue in the legs which will have both mental and physical adaptations when racing

· Incorporate stretching or a pilates session to improve flexibility
