Jolandi believes that biomechanics is at the heart of any movement pattern and needs to be addressed in order to move pain free and without any restrictions. She has chosen to take a different approach to physiotherapy and athlete management as we know it. It aims at educating the patient in his or her sport, correcting the biomechanics of movement and, rather than managing recurrent injuries, preventing them from occurring. Her objective is to promote injury free participation in sport by contributing to injury surveillance through injury data collection, adequate player management and implementation of injury prevention programs.

Besides from physiotherapy and sports research. Jolandi has a great calling for female empowerment. Her goal in life is to enable all women to participate in sport, whether elite or social sports participation. She aims to provide women with a safe and happy environment to live active lifestyles.
